This weekend
This weekend is packed with events. In fact, all of them sound so exciting, that i don't know which one to choose to go to myself. Here we are:
17th-18th NORFOLK LIVING HISTORY FAYRE
Action packed programme from Romans to the IIWW with entertainment, exhibitions, trade stands and much more! A medieval knight on horseback will mingle with Battle of Britain pilots,Tudor queens, Jacobites, Saxons, Jane Austen's Emma and many other costumed characters. Those who like their outings to go with a bang can thrill to the sound of a 15th-century cannon being fired,and a trebuchet-a medieval siege weapon-will also be in action. Entrance: Adults£7.50, under 16s free.Creake Abbey Apple Fair Saturday 17th 10am.-4pm.
Apple tasting, fruit tree sales, apple juice pressing and sales, cider, cheese, chutney, preserves, tarts, honey & beeswax, pies, puddings, wood carving, basket making & sales, North Norfolk MEGA slide(separate charge), other childrens activities.
Entrance: £1.50 adults, children free.
Sunday family event. Find some fab fungi during Wildlife Watch, a fun fungus foray in the grounds of Gresham's School in Holt. From 10am.-12pm you can discover a variety of specimens and find out all you ever wanted to know about the fascinating world of fungi. You can also take part in the mycelium game, go on walk and see who can collect the most fungus examples(bring your basket) and make spore print to take home. £4
Sunday 18th.Join Norfolk Wildlife Trust for a day full of free activities and wildlife displays to suit all ages. -23.jpg)

Organisations such as the Dragonfly Society, Hawk and Owl Trust, Norfolk Amphibian and Reptile Group and Butterfly Conservation will be on hand to help you discover some of the wildlife that can be found in and around Saxlingham Nethergate.
Free entry, no need to book.
